Grant Achatz, the wizard of molecular gastronomy, has temporarily moved his Chicago restaurant, Alinea, to Madrid. From 12 January until 6 February, the US chef, holder of a long list of awards, topped by three Michelin stars, will offer two daily dinner services (80 seats) at NH Collection Eurobuilding hotel, from Tuesday to Saturday, with a unique menu of 17 to 20 dishes, designed, almost in their entirety, for the occasion.
Alinea Madrid will offer two marvellous gastronomic experiences in Spain. One will involve collaborative Alinea/DiverXO meals, where chefs Grant Achatz and Dabiz Muñoz will work together to present their different culinary offerings.
The second Alinea Madrid culinary experience will take place at the capital’s NH Collection Eurobuilding hotel from 19 January to 6 February, where the current VIP breakfast area will be converted into a culinary setting designed by Lázaro Rosa and a tasting menu made available.
