From 18 to 22 January, FITUR, the International Tourism Fair, will be held in Madrid. This year’s guest country is Argentina.
The fair, held at IFEMA Feria de Madrid, is a meeting place for tourism sector professionals from all over the world and a venue where the first meetings of the year can be held.
To this end Madrid Convention Bureau’s team be present at Madrid’s stand and it will also take advantage of the presence of representatives from all of Spain’s foreign tourism offices at the fair, suggesting collaborative initiatives for the purpose of organising fam trips and other promotional events in 2017.
In this vein, MCB plans to organise nine fam trips in 2017 for professionals from the corporate sector in markets of strategic interest such as those of Europe and Asia, and to hold at least two events in the United States and China, presenting Madrid as a destination.
