GAME ON Madrid, the first international tabletop games convention in Spain, will take place in La Nave Boetticher Madrid, 1 to 3 December.
GAME ON is the most awaited event both nationally and internationally, with an expected assistance of 10.000 attendees and 5.500m2 of exhibition area.
Under the concept of “table top games” Game On will bring together various activities from this entertaining ector, such as:
· Board Games
· Collectable Card Games
· Miniature Games
· RPG: Role-Playing Games
La Nave, a former factory of industrial elevators, has been recently transformed in a fascinating space dedicated to the new technologies. Besides having a suitable infrastructure, it is located within the municipality of Madrid, 20 minutes away from downtown and just a 10-minute walk from the closest metro and train stations. Also, several bus lines connect La Nave with the city center.
A total of 46 exhibitors from several countries will participate in this event and will display their products in assigned stands in the exhibition area on the first floor of La N@ve. In each stand, the attendees will be able to try a several number of wellknown games, recent releases and additionally, obtain more information on future games.
The event will also count with thematic areas such as:
-Conference Room – where speakers from the sector will be presenting new releases, will talk about the innovations of the sector and the importance of board games.
-Organized Play Area – an area for the specialized public where they can register and play various finals, such as the Star Wars X Wing or Arkham Horror LCG.
-Children’s corner – where kids and parents can enjoy the event´s versatility and discover new games to play together.
-Digital area– will offer the possibility of experiencing online games and compete against other attendees.
There will also be a Press Room and a VIP Room together with an exterior catering area with different food trucks and resting areas. The agenda will be dynamic and very complete, meant to offer activities for families, children and teenagers, in advance of the Christmas season.
The program includes competitions, presentations of new releases, workshops and master classes, lectures and signing sessions, exhibitions, an awards ceremony and other leisure options for the entire family.
This 1st International Tabletop Games Convention is defined as:
– An event that will embrace Gaming and will cover the whole spectrum of fans
– An event that will give Gaming an event at the same level of international fairs from other sectors
– An event where young and old will encounter different proposals for an active leisure
