On October 17 and 18, 2019, the first International Forum on Circular Economy, Eco-innovations and Tourism will take place at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, bringing together national and international experts in these three areas: circular economy, eco-innovations and tourism, as well as their interrelations.
Theoretical and practical meeting point
This International Forum aims at being a meeting point where – from a theoretical-practical perspective – answers to the challenges presented by these issues are provided, the incorporation of the principles of Circular Economy into society is promoted and the implementation of Eco-innovations is encouraged.
This forum therefore has the goal of supporting the sustainability of companies in general and of tourism companies and destinations in particular, and by extension that of the planet, fostering the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
To this end, its structure combines prestigious international experts’ conferences, round tables formed by professionals and university lecturers, and sessions devoted to the presentation of communications.
