Last June the Eurostars Suites Mirasierra Hotel held a re-opening celebration; the hotel recently became part of the Eurostars Hotels portfolio. The event, presided over by Infrastructure Minister Ana Pastor, drew nearly 800 people from the political, economic and business arenas, in addition to a large number of representatives from the tourism sector.
A jazz band provided the entertainment, and the event opened with an image mapping and ambient sound video. A cocktail party followed, offering guests the chance to sample a representative selection of the cuisine offered at the various establishments in the Eurostars Hotels chain, both in Spain and abroad.
A total of 11 hotels in the chain located across different parts of Spain participated in the event. During the ceremony Amancio López Seijas, President of the Hotusa Group, stressed that “Madrid must be in the global league of city tourism destinations; it needs to have a collective desire to take this leap forward. In the Hotusa Group we are betting on Madrid, and we want to contribute our grain of sand to make it happen”.
Spanish Infrastructure Minister Ana Pastor, for her part, thanked Amancio López for his “commitment to Spain” and “the tourism model you have implemented”, congratulating him for “working and ensuring that Spain holds a special appeal for tourists with establishments such as this hotel”.
An inviting setting
The evening event was held in “The Garden”, the terrace at the 5-star Eurostars Suites Mirasierra Hotel, an inviting setting divided into three areas available to hotel guests and visitors. Its wide culinary selection and range of cocktails make it the ideal place to hold events and celebrations.
Located in the northern part of Madrid, in the financial district, the Eurostars Suites Mirasierra Hotel “stands out for creating an excellent and meticulous setting, with its large spaces, elegant suites, a fantastic outdoor terrace and an appealing culinary selection”, according to the chain.
