The Canadian singer Tate McRae will be in concert on 21 May at the Vistalegre Arena Palace to present her second album: Think Later, which includes the single Greedy, which went to the top of Spotify’s Global Chart and Number 3 on the Billboard 200 Chart.
Born in 2003 in Calgary (Canada), Tate McRae, whose full name is Tate Rosner McRae, showed a keen interest and talent for both music and dance from a very early age. She became known when she started dancing competitively, winning Best Dancer in the Mini Category of the Dance Awards 2013 in New York (United States).
In 2017, she released a series of videos showcasing songs that she had written and recorded in her room. Her first hit was One Day, with more than 30 million views. In 2020, she produced her debut EP, All the Things I Never Said, but her rise to fame came with the release of her single, You Broke Me First in 2020, in the midst of the COVID-19 lock down. The tune rapidly gained popularity and became an international hit .
In 2022, she released her first album: I Used to Think I Could Fly, with 13 songs and which entered the US Billboard 200 Chart at Number 13. Tate stands out not only for her vocal skills, but also for her ability to create emotional and personal lyrics. Her musical style focuses on contemporary pop with touches of electronic music and R&B.
Now she is back with a new album full of positive themes that she will showcase with the Think Later Tour, her first word tour which includes 53 concerts across Europe, United Kingdom, North America, Australia and New Zealand.
In this concert, Tate McRae is accompanied by the American rapper and singer-songwriter, Charlieonnafriday as the opening act.
