CircusBand

The company CircusBand presents its new show called Trasbordo (Transshipment) at the Circo Price Theatre on 24 and 25 May. It is a show conceived from a theatrical point of view, a contemporary circus proposal with a solid dramaturgy and a careful staging that tells and excites.

Trasbordo is a work by CircusBand, a company from Madrid whose members have extensive experience in the world of entertainment and circus, Alfonso Jiménez (circus artist and alto saxophone) Miguelo Garrido (circus artist) Sira Cuenca Galán (circus artist and voice) and Juan José Calzas "Cata" (guitar, composition). The direction is by Sergio López (Percutor Theatre), the dramaturgy by Mar Gómez Glez Glez, the lighting by Pepe Vázquez Luengo and the costumes by Lina Álvarez Caballero.

With a station as a stage, four characters stop to tell us their past and future stories. They speak to us with their bodies, with music, movement and words of those small or big decisions that marked their destiny. We are faced with the possibility of encounter and loss; with the first yes and the return; with a physical place and a dream. We are, in short, before the hope of facing life with the illusion and courage with which an adventure is undertaken.
