Hannibal Laguna

Born in Venezuela but Spanish at heart; educated in Milan but admired worldwide. Hannibal Laguna chose Madrid as his residence in 1998, year in which he opened an atelier in El callejón de Jorge Juan where he has all of his haute couture, prêt à porter, jewellery and complement collections. In 2018, the store moved to its current location, right by the Paseo del Prado and the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum.

In his Madrid boutique, the designer presents a minimalist aesthetic with exposed brickwork on some of the walls and large picture windows, creating the perfect environment to showcase his collections, which feature evening wear and cocktail dresses, offering a timeless, seductive appeal, Sophisticated and feminine, his clothes have captivated legions of fans, including many famous faces such as Naomi Campbell and Paz Vega.

Another one of his proposals is the line for grooms: while brides have the possibility of getting their dress tailored at the shop, as well as at any of Pronovias’ stores, grooms must go to one of the stores of the brand Protocolo, distributors of formalwear created by Hannibal Laguna.
