This restaurant, located in the heart of the Argüelles neighbourhood, is one of the few Ethiopian restaurants in the city. It offers cuisine oozing exoticism from the Middle East, served in a pleasant establishment with typical decoration from the country and a relaxed atmosphere.
Ethiopian cuisine consists of various starters and vegetable or meat dishes, normally a stew, served on injera, long, thin bread. The specialities at El Etíope include sanbussas (crunchy pastry filled with vegetables or meat), kitfo (minced beef seasoned with mitmita and kibbeh) or misir wot (red lentils with berber sauce).
