Popular traditional family-run restaurant founded in 1954, located in the neighbourhood of Chamberí. The kitchen is run by the owner, who has taken over from his parents, serving up traditional home-cooked food with a modern twist and a set menu.
Over these years the business has been modernised, but traditional home-cooked dishes are still the most popular. The menu prioritises seasonal ingredients and is dependent on what’s available from the market, but there are a few menu standards such as morcilla black sausage lasagne, tender kid goat fillets in solera wine, cuttlefish ragout with vegetables and rice in cuttlefish ink, and salmon with grape sauce.
