{"id":3904,"date":"2020-02-26T13:15:57","date_gmt":"2020-02-26T13:15:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esmadrid.com\/mcb\/?p=3904"},"modified":"2024-06-11T11:29:02","modified_gmt":"2024-06-11T11:29:02","slug":"madrid-global-forum-bestcities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esmadrid.com\/mcb\/novedades\/madrid-global-forum-bestcities\/","title":{"rendered":"Madrid, Global Forum de BestCities: let&#8217;s develop legacy together"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>El 32 Congreso OPC Spain ha sido el marco para avanzar que, del 20 al 23 de Noviembre 2020, Madrid acoger\u00e1 el Global Forum de la alianza de ciudades sede de congresos BestCities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Bajo el lema \u00abDeveloping Legacy Together\u00bb, el programa del Forum desarrollar\u00e1 el concepto de Legado e impacto positivo de los congresos y su aplicaci\u00f3n pr\u00e1ctica<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Madrid Convention Bureau lleva tiempo implementando un programa de legado, conjuntamente con las Sociedades y Asociaciones organizadoras de congresos en la ciudad y cuenta con un departamento especializado<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En el marco de la celebraci\u00f3n del <a href=\"https:\/\/congreso2020.opcspain.org\/\">32 Congreso OPC Spain<\/a> y Foro MICE, que abri\u00f3 sus puertas el pasado d\u00eda 20 de febrero, Jane Cunningham, representando a la alianza de ciudades BestCities, llev\u00f3 a cabo una charla para los asistentes en torno al concepto del impacto positivo de los congresos sobre los destinos que los acogen, desde el punto de vista de la sostenibilidad, la formaci\u00f3n y divulgaci\u00f3n etc.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Madrid, sede de Global Forum<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Durante la charla, se dio a conocer que Madrid\u00a0 ser\u00e1 la sede del encuentro <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bestcities.net\/about-us\/bestcities-global-forum-2020\/\">Global Forum 2020<\/a>, que esta alianza de ciudades organiza anualmente en una de sus ciudades miembro.<\/p>\n<p>Global Forum re\u00fane a representantes de asociaciones de todo el mundo junto con los destinos BestCities para debatir sobre la actualidad del sector congresos. La \u00faltima edici\u00f3n en Copenhague, planteaba c\u00f3mo ser\u00e1n los congresos del futuro.<\/p>\n<p>Global Forum Madrid, que tendr\u00e1 lugar del 20 al 23 de noviembre, nace con un lema claro: \u00abDeveloping Legacy Together\u00bb, como invitaci\u00f3n a Asociaciones y Sociedades internacionales a trabajar conjuntamente con los convention bureaux BestCities para generar de forma proactiva impacto positivo en la ciudad de acogida de sus congresos.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Legado o impacto positivo<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Desde hace un tiempo, la industria de las reuniones viene plante\u00e1ndose que, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del impacto meramente econ\u00f3mico de las reuniones, existen otro tipo de beneficios que las ciudades de acogida de un congreso pueden recibir en el \u00e1mbito social y educativo, medioambiental o incluso pol\u00edtico.<\/p>\n<p>Para ello, se hace necesario un trabajo de identificaci\u00f3n de los aspectos en que este legado puede ser m\u00e1s \u00faltil en cada destino, y de los agentes a los que los convention bureaux tienen que involucrar para lograr resultados reales.<\/p>\n<p>Durante el Forum se debatir\u00e1 en torno al concepto y la aplicaci\u00f3n pr\u00e1ctica de campa\u00f1as de Legado a partir de la colaboraci\u00f3n entre las Asociaciones organizadoras de los congresos y las Fundaciones, ONGs y otros agentes sociales locales.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Madrid, pionero en Espa\u00f1a<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En este aspecto, Madrid lleva tiempo desarrollando colaboraciones en el marco de la celebraci\u00f3n de congresos en la ciudad, de las que el mejor ejemplo es el trabajo en marcha con el congreso ESTRO 2021, cuyas acciones arrancan ya en 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Madrid Convention Bureau cuenta para llevar a cabo con este desarrollo con un departamento especializado que analiza y dise\u00f1a con cada Sociedad posibles opciones de impacto, identifica los partners m\u00e1s adecuados en la ciudad y lleva a cabo este plan.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Sobre BestCities<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>La alianza de ciudades <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bestcities.net\/\">BestCities<\/a>, fundada hace veinte a\u00f1os, re\u00fane un total de 11 convention bureaux de destinos mundiales: Berl\u00edn, Bogot\u00e1, Ciudad del Cabo, Copenhague, Dubai, Houston, Madrid, Melbourne, Singapur, Tokio y Vancuver.<\/p>\n<p>Su objetivo es promover la excelencia en la organizaci\u00f3n de eventos congresuales, compartiendo el conocimiento y la formaci\u00f3n entre sus ciudades miembro.
