Madrid will host, from 26 to 28 June 24, the 11th ACM Celebration of Women in Computing: womENcourage™ 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n

The participation is open to all genders and will provide with a full program of activities<\/strong><\/p>\n

The ACM-W Europe womENcourage<\/a> 2024 event will be held in Escuela Polit\u00e9cnica Superior, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid from June 26th to June 28th.<\/div>\n

Program of Activities<\/strong><\/h4>\n

WomENcourage proposes a program full of exciting activities including:<\/p>\n

* A\u00a0hackathon<\/a>\u00a0were you can ideate creative solutions for the challenge “AI Fair Play Hackathon: Ensuring Equity in Language Technology” sponsored by\u00a0NEC Laboratories Europe GmbH<\/a><\/p>\n

* More than\u00a060 students’ posters<\/a>\u00a0showing their innovative projects and ideas<\/p>\n

* More than 15\u00a0workshops on different technologies<\/a>\u00a0and issues related with ICT, including technical workshops from\u00a0Airbus<\/a>,\u00a0Telef\u00f3nica<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Scalian Spain<\/a><\/p>\n

* Amazing\u00a0keynotes<\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0Marta Villegas<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Virginia Dignum<\/a>\u00a0and innovative and inspiring techtalks from our supporters.<\/p>\n

* A\u00a0career fair<\/a>\u00a0where you can directly interact with leading companies<\/p>\n

* We have a\u00a0last-minute only registration scholarship<\/a>\u00a0open<\/p>\n

WomENcourage 2024 will definitely be a vibrant event open to all genders, aimed at celebrating the role and impact of women in computing, and supporting participants at different stages in their STEM careers by offering an international, multisectoral, and multidisciplinary forum to share experience and knowledge, get constructive feedback, and promote meaningful networking.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
