Espacio 5.1, located in IFEMA - Feria de Madrid, hosts this exhibition that reconstructs the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamon and the treasures found there. From its reopening on 16 July, visitors will be able to enjoy an exhibition consisting of more than 1000 pieces that will transport those attending the discovery of these funerary chambers by archaeologist Howard Carter in 1922.
This exhibition, which returns to Madrid 10 years after its first visit to Spain, is a unique opportunity for archaeology and Ancient Egypt enthusiasts to discover this funerary treasure in its original archaeological context. Throughout 2000 square meters, the public will know all the details about the history of the young Pharaoh, as well as the excavation work in the Valley of the Kings, carried out by the famous English archaeologist and Egyptologist Howard Carter and his team.
The three burial chambers are reconstructed as they were found, along with replicas of the treasure they housed, including the Golden Mask, one of the most precious jewels from Antiquity to the present day.

The exhibition has been visited by six and a half million people in cities such as Zurich, Munich, Budapest, Dublin, Brussels, Paris and Seoul. In its first visit to Spain it was received by more than 450 thousand spectators.
In its commitment to bring the best exhibitions on the international circuit to Spain, Sold Out has collaborated with IFEMA for the creation of the new Espacio 5.1 dedicated to entertainment, culture and the arts. Since its opening in 2018, this space has hosted major exhibitions such as Jurassic World: The Exhibition, Banksy: Genius or Vandal or The Pink Floyd Exhibition. Their Mortal Remains.
