Notas del Ambigú is a season of music that looks back at some of the best passages from the great lyric genres of opera, zarzuela operetta, and musical theatre of all time.
On 18 October, there will be a special performance of Basque songs by mezzo-soprano Miren Urbieta and the pianist Rubén Fernández Aguirre. On 31 January, the mezzo-soprano Carol García will be performing Catalan songs with pianist Rubén Fernández Aguirre.On 15 February the 'fandango' takes centre stage with One fandango and a thousand things. On 8 March there will be An evening of copla music with singer Ángel Ruiz and the pianist Miguel Huertas.Finally, on 18 April, the Musical Comedy will be in the spotlight with a collection of excerpts performed by soprano Carmen González and pianist Patricia Burton.
