As of 7 July, IFEMA is home to this new outdoor stage, which offers a wide variety of daily leisure and cultural proposals for all ages, until 6 September. Safety distancing measures recommended by the health authorities during this back to normality phase after the pandemic will be guaranteed all over the premises.
Abre Madrid has two stages, each with a capacity for 800 people. Stage 1, alongside Hall 1, will offer a varied programme for all ages, with concerts, monologues, family shows, chats, etc. Stage 2, alongside Hall 2 will be devoted to outdoor films.
The LETSGO and Productores de Sonrisas production companies are behind this initiative, seeking to reinvent culture and bring it back to life, whilst remaining close to the spectator, and IFEMA, who continues its firm commitment to culture and leisure. Thanks to its spaciousness and good communications to get there on public and private transport, it has become the ideal venue for the return of culture to Madrid.
