Abierto X Obras (Matadero)

Abierto X Obras seeks to establish a dialogue between the artist, the areas in Matadero where the work is displayed, and its social and cultural context.  The venue has its own programme of artistic events, all of which are experimental and exploratory and share the same space.

The installations are housed in the former refrigeration chamber of the Matadero centre, not a conventional site but one which gives great scope for creative work, as has been clearly demonstrated by the artists who have exhibited there.
