With 1920s style decor, blending European art deco, a traditional Madrid grocery store, and New York prohibition era, this bar started out as two separate sites, at no. 14 and 16 Ponzano, which shared the same menu. Today it is on just one site, No. 16 Ponzano, with a long bar where you can get together with friends or colleagues after work and enjoy drinks and snacks, with a selection of sharing platters.
Teje Maneje was initially a joint venture launched by two restaurant groups, Larrumba and Lalala. It is currently owned exclusively by Larrumba.
It is a long, thin place, split over two levels, with a large bar and tiled floors.
