Located in the popular Calle de Manuela in Malasaña, this family-run eatery, which first opened in 1969, stands out due to the quality of its raw ingredients and the imaginative touch that Concha López gives to traditional market cuisine. Its excellent food and value for money have earned it a Bib Gourmand recommendation in the Michelin Guide.
Don't miss out on her seasonable vegetables in tempura, the baby-broad-bean scrambled eggs with Iberian ham, cured meat from Leon on a bed of Padrón peppers and her two specialities: red tuna (in season) and hot apple tart.
The small, stylish dining room is ideal for romantic dinners or small groups, with good old-fashioned service, always attentive to every detail.
