World Blindness Summit Madrid

The ONCE Social Group is holding the World Blindness Summit Madrid at the Marriott Auditorium & Conference Center Hotel from 21 to 26 May. The Madrid World Blindness Summit is the largest international assembly on the subject of visual impairment and will be attended by more than 1500 blind people from more than 190 countries and more than 200 organisations related to this disability.

The event is a unique meeting held every four years, promoted by the Unión Mundial de Ciegos (UMC) (World Blind Union (WBU), which will be joined by an international meeting of ICEVI, the entity that brings together the world's leading experts in the education of blind people.

In addition, this new edition of the summit will incorporate Tiflolnnova 2020, global reference fair in technology adapted to people with visual disabilities, where you can see the most advanced technical aids for the improvement of life and the inclusion of these people in all areas.
