The Women’s Run is the largest female sporting celebration in Madrid and serves to raise funds for the fight against breast cancer. Its route is around 6.3 km long and more than 36,000 runners participated in 2019!
The t-shirts, bib-chip and runner’s bag will be distributed at IFEMA Campo de las Naciones (Pavilion 14), on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 May from 10am until 8pm during the Sportwoman Fair, which will offer diverse activities in relation to the Women’s Race and other charities. To get there, it is recommended to go to the Feria de Madrid metro station, which is a short distance from the venue.
Registration slips for physical registrations or an ID card or photocopy for online registrations must be presented.
It set off from Calle Princesa (corner of Hilarión Eslava) and continued past Plaza de España, Gran Vía, Alcalá, Puerta del Sol, Calle Mayor, Calle Bailén, Royal Palace, Paseo del Pintor Rosales, Calle Ferraz, Calle Marqués de Urquijo and finished in Paseo de Camoens (Click on the image to enlarge the map)
The maximum time to complete the test is 1 hour and 45 minutes. They can only enroll women over 12 years.
If this is your case, remember that this year there will be a special starting line for all those who wish to participate walking (there is more than enough time to do it).
Go to the starting line along Paseo de Moret and Paseo Ruperto Chapí no later than 8.30am. In this way, we can ensure that those who are going to run can set off in their time schedules (less than 30min, less than 40min, less than 50min…).
