Welcome to Madrid
The Ortega y Gasset Foundation, located in the Salamanca district, is a private institution devoted to cultural dissemination, training, debate and research in the area of Social Sciences and the Humanities.
Inspired by the spirit of its founder, as well as the role he played in society at that time, it was set up in 1978 by Soledad Ortega Spottorno. In 2010, the José Ortega y Gasset Foundation merged with the Gregorio Marañón Foundation, giving rise to the FOM.
The Foundation carries out a wide variety of activities: post-graduate training, university studies for international students, training courses for Spanish teachers, applied research, consultancy and cooperation projects for development, publication of tests, PhD theses and studies, congresses, seminars, conferences, round tables, book presentations and exhibitions.
Its activity also extends to other fields related to Health, Healthcare and Welfare.
