Sala de Exposiciones Arqueria Nuevos Ministerios

The exhibition space located at Nuevos Ministerios, inaugurated in October of 1983 under the name of "La Arquería". The halls have shown the most relevant events of the contemporary architecture wishing to promote the architectural culture in Spain.  

Its exhibitions have featured great names of international architecture like Lewerentz, Asplund, Scarpa, Morris, Saarinen, Piano, Tadao Ando, Barragán, Rietveld, Jacobsen, Terragni, Melnikov and Eisenman, as well as the most important 20th century Spanish architects: Coderch, Jujol, Fisac, Oíza, Candela, Alas-Casariego, Corrales-Molezún, MBM, Alejandro de la Sota, Cano Lasso, Calatrava; and some important single-themed exhibitions like New York Architecture or One Hundred Plans of Havana.

The exhibition space is an acclaimed space among in the international architecture scene, especially for its design and exhibition displays and its ephemeral architecture that has won numerous awards.
