Welcome to Madrid
On 17 June, the Plaza Mayor Tourist Information Centre and the city’s five tourist information kiosks (Plaza de Callao, Royal Palace, Reina Sofía, Paseo del Prado and Bernabéu) were awarded the Safe Tourism Certified Seal (UNE 0066-10 de Mayo 2020). Madrid is the first major city whose tourist information centres have received this seal which is given by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE).
In the Salón de Columnas room of Casa de la Panadería, a building in the popular Plaza Mayor square, you'll find a state-of-the-art tourist information centre, open 365 days a year, from 9.30am to 8.30pm. The friendly staff can offer helpful advice, in many languages, on how to make the most of your stay in the city.

- Ticket sales: there is a ticket sales point for Teatro Circo Price, Teatro Español, Fernán Gomez Cultural Centre and Naves del Español en Matadero. The opening hours are from Monday to Sunday, from 10:30am to 2:30pm and from 4:30pm to 8:30pm. The ticket office is closed on 24, 25 and 31 December and 1 January.
