Welcome to Madrid
Asturian cider bar located by the Plaza España specialising in griddled fish and seafood, stews and rice dishes. It is a large restaurant where you can have a little something to eat up to the bar, or dine in one of its two dining areas. There is also a reserved area. On the ground floor you will find a large tank where they keep much of the seafood brought in directly from Asturias.
As well as the a la carte menu, you can choose from a number of fixed-price menus, including its jornadas, a menu for two people that they change every fortnight and which is named after the wine they are promoting at that time. Its specialities include rice with lobster, griddled rock fish, and a seafood platter that includes spider crab, brown crab, king prawns, langoustines, mussels and winkles. All these dishes can be washed down with the finest cider, which customers can serve themselves thanks to the automatic pumps located throughout the restaurant.
