Welcome to Madrid
Small family restaurant established by Asturians near the Rastro (flea market) in 1857. It was a meeting place for fish vendors from the nearby markets and is one of the oldest taverns in Madrid.
Restorations have recovered lost details, so we might say that it is as it was, with its original embossed tiles, produced in 1922 and its slogan: “eat well and cheaply at San Millán 4 ”.
The interior, too, conserves its traditional look, with a brick wine cellar, photographs of old Madrid, relics of the first Spanish radios and other antiques.
