16TH PUPPET FESTIVAL

Once again, Titirilandia 2009 opens its doors to the public. The curtain goes up, the lights come on, the seats fill up with laughter, excitement and applauses. We’re celebrating our 16th anniversary and that is why the Asociación Cultural Titirilandia has organized a huge party to which everyone is invited.

A total of fifteen companies will entertain young and old during 36 performances which everyone will be able to enjoy throughout the summer. Some of the best companies in the world from such diverse places as Colombia, Brazil, Romania, Argentina, Italy and France on tour in our country will stop by El Retiro Puppet Theatre to share with us all their fantastic work. They will of course be joined by the best Spanish companies from all over the country.

Another unmissable event is A Fairytale Summer. The UN has declared 2009 Year of Astronomy and Titirilandia doesn’t want to miss out on the celebrations, which is why it will be hosting the series “Counting Stars” in which we will discover all those secrets the stars are hiding.
