Since the late 1950s, the Dutch pianist Jack van Poll has been playing with the great legends of jazz such as Dizzie Gillespie, Lionel Hampton and Dee Bridgewater. His rampantly bebop style is solid and sprinkled with a touch of the blues, though he never loses his swing
The Dutch Jazz Weekend is organized by the Carlos de Amberes Foundation with the participation of: Veranos de la Villa (Summers in the City) Festival, the Dutch Fund for the Performing Arts, the Embassy of the Netherlands, the Music Center for the Netherlands (MCN), Unicaja, Kalam, Jazz Círculo, Sala Clamores and Escuela de Música Creativa.
