The National Dance Company offers its first performance at the Naves del Español of Matadero Madrid, an impressive space for witnessing the talents of a group that has earned national and international fame. The selected program features two pieces by the company's director, Nacho Duato: Cobalto and Herrumbe.
Cobalto is the latest choreography designed by the director of this company and reflects on eroticism through the world of dreams with a musical score composed by Pedro Alcalde and Sergio Caballero for a single instrument - the organ. For the first time ever, Duato's team will sport a wardrobe created by the fashion designer Lydia Delgado. Herrumbe is a large-format ballet, first performed in 2004, that addresses the issue of torture.
