The writer and poet BENJAMíN PRADO is the author of an extensive list of works and has won numerous prizes, including the 8th International Generation of '27 Poetry Prize for his book "Marea Humana" (Visor, 2006). His poetry is full of meditations on loyalty, love and memory and of literary and geographical references. His social awareness, expressed in countless journalistic articles, novels and essays, and his strong sense of social justice, combined with his extraordinary talents as a writer, have won him the admiration of both the public and the critics. He is currently regarded as one of the leading exponents of the new generations.
