Piano Concerto nº1, Op. 15 by Brahms in D Minor: Version for two pianos

Madrid native Silvya Torán performs a two-piano version of Brahm’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in D Minor Op. 15. This concerto is regarded as the first great work by the German composer, and he himself performed it on piano at the premiere of the piece in Leipzig in 1859. Sylvia Torán, a pianist who has trained at Madrid’s Real Conservatorio Superior de Música, New York’s Juilliard School of Music, Rome’s Accademia di Spagna and other venues, has given recitals, concerts with orchestra and chamber music in Mexico, Santo Domingo, Poland, Switzerland, France, the United States, Chile, the United Kingdom, Canada, etc.

*Entry free of charge until seating capacity is reached. Each person will be given a maximum of two tickets at the ticket office of the Jardines de Sabatini starting at 6:00 pm on the day of the concert.


* The festival organisers reserve the right to possible changes in repertoire, which will be notified via the handbill handed out on the day of the event.
