Matadero Madrid will promote transdisciplinary activities via:

Intermediae, an initiative of the Arts Department of Madrid City Council, which will act as a catalyst for interaction between creators and citizens, with the aim of seeking out and presenting alternative forms of expression, creation and thought. The "process" and the production of transdisciplinary works form the two main objectives of Intermediae Matadero, aimed at facilitating cross-fertilization between different creative disciplines and processes.

A support programme for creation, offering artists and cultural creators a platform for experimentation, training, production, communication and displaying artistic projects in different creative fields: support; studios, workshops and rehearsal rooms; artists' hostel and "incubator" for cultural companies.
