Indra has just opened an advanced service-oriented architecture (SOA) technology centre in Madrid for its clients.

According to the company, the facility is the first of its kind in Spain and will offer consultancy and system development services adapted to the specific needs of each client.
The centre is located in Indra's Alcobendas (north Madrid) offices and can call on the skills of 200 technology consultancy experts specialised in areas such as Java and Microsoft.net.
The Spanish company has indicated that the initial phase of the centre is part of the agreement signed with Oracle at the beginning of the year in order to boost collaboration around the world by establishing sales and technological activities.
In fact, the centre will host joint SOA schemes from both companies. According to Indra's management, the company has clients in this field such as REE, Red.es, Aviva, Caja Madrid and Repsol YPF.
