Madrid Emprende is now accepting applications for its course madridBioEmprende: Entrepreneurial Initiatives through Biotechnology.
The madridBioEmprende course is an initiative promoted by Madrid City Council through Madrid Emprende and in collaboration with the Spanish Genome Foundation, and aims to provide training, consultancy and support for all those entrepreneurs who wish to implement a business idea within the biotechnology field. The course is operated through an advanced e-Learning platform.

The virtual course, which is totally free of charge, is available to teachers, scientist, doctorate students and final year university students who have a business idea related to the biotechnical sector or similar fields.

Over six months all those interested in the programme can follow a combined training course, with an in-person element (monitoring of the business plan with an assigned mentor and conferences at the start and the middle of the programme), as well as a telematic, dynamic and interactive element carried out through the platform.

Registrations are now being accepted for the “madridBioEmprende: Initiatives through Biotechnology” virtual course, which begins in October. Anyone interested in the course should send an e-mail to Noelia Romero from the Spanish Genome Foundation, with a brief explanation of their business idea.
