A free consultation service for the entrepreneur

Madrid Emprende, in collaboration with the State Administration through the Ministry for Industry, Tourism and Trade (Directorate General for SMEs policy), has shown its commitment to the City of Madrid's entrepreneurs with the creation of an Advice and Paperwork Processing Point (PAIT). As well as offering information and advice to those who want to start up a business project, the free service also helps them to start the administrative processes necessary for creating a company, with the Single Electronic Document (DUE).

The Advice and Paperwork Processing Points (PAIT) are offices that depend on Public Administration and both public and private bodies, (Law 30/2006 of December 29th) as well as professional colleges, business organisations and chambers of commerce (Royal Decree 682/2003, of June 7th). PAIT functions can also be carried out by the One Stop Corporate Shop (VUE) centres.
The PAIT has a double objective:

• Offering in-person information and consultancy services to entrepreneurs for the definition stage and paperwork involved in their business initiatives, as well as during the first few years of activity of the New Business Limited Company.
• Initiating the administrative paperwork involved in creating a company through the Single Electronic Document (DUE), which will facilitate the excange of documentation necessary for the creation of a company with the various bodies and organisaions responsible for the setting up of a New Business Limited Company.

The free services provided by a PAIT are the following:

• Within its consultancy and information services for entrepreneurs (which is carried out from the one place, avoiding the need for travel and reducing timeframes) of note is the work carried out in informing and consulting on general business issues:
  • Financing.
  • Tax isues.
  • Public support programmes.
  • Employment contracts and social security.
  • Business innovation.
  • Business cooperation and internationalisation.
• As rgards the administrative steps involved in creating a New Business Limited Company (SLNE), hwlp i offered in filling out the DUE and in starting data processing.
