The songwriter and educator, Victorija Pilatovic is considered to be a promising artist in the jazz world. Before finishing her studies at Berklee College, she already had Greg Osby, the legendary saxophonist, as her mentor.
He is precisely the American musician with whom she recorded her first album, Nica's Blues, in 2013, which includes songs like We Could Solve That, which immediately captivated public and critics alike. In 2014, she recorded alongside Perico Sambeat’s band. Throughout her short career, she has worked with Chris Dave, Drumheadz or Ravi Contrane and she has participated in many jazz festivals.
Sambeat defines her as one of the great promises of the genre and the voice from Lithuania is a journey to the innermost places of feelings. Feelings are what she awakens when Pilatovic sings her own songs. Stories of England is the latest song that she has presented and is included in the album that she will be releasing shortly. In this album, she sings with a seductive voice, trapping the listener and making him/her feel part of the song.
