Anders Trentemøller is a musician and producer from Copenhagen who, since his debut in 2005, has made a name for himself among the leading artists on the electronic music scene, on account of his versatility and his desire to learn and to delve into the darkest corners of the genre.
In 2006, he brought out his first album The Last Resort, following on the back of his electro EPs, which earned its place as one of the best albums of the year. However, it was not until the following year that Trentemøller formed a band, marking the start of a long journey that has taken them around the world, performing over 300 shows.
Fixion is the fourth album brought out recently by the electronic music group, who have tied together all that they have learned on their path to fame. Following the success of their second album, Into The Great Wide Yonder, released in 2010, they brought out Lost in 2013, blending the boundaries between different sounds.
This journey through different musical styles has led the band to compose music that is profound and simple in equal measure. A mixture of styles, Fixion is the logical continuation of its predecessor, taking the listener from the melancholy of Lost to the dark romanticism of songs such as Redefine.
