Third edition of the Tomavistas Festival, which is a festival for the growing restless audience, for fans of the authentic, fascinating and lasting essence. It will be held from 19 to 21 May at the Enrique Tierno Galván Park in Madrid, as part of the programme of activities for the San Isidro Festivals, with the collaboration of Madrid City Council.
The first groups confirmed for this new edition include, among others, the Canadian post-punk group Suuns presenting their latest record Hold/Still, with a heavier bias towards electronic music than their previous albums.
Indie sounds are covered by Los Punsetes, a band from Madrid that has just published their fourth album and are looking to consolidate their reputation as one of the leading lights on Spain's indie-pop scene. Egon Soda, an indie pop-rock band from Barcelona, will be promoting their third album Dadnos precipicios, with a new and fresh feel.
The band from Zarautz, Delorean, who have become one of the most interesting groups on the national music scene, will be performing tracks from their latest album Muzik, undoubtedly one of the most essential records of their career. Los Nastys will be presenting tracks from their latest album, Noche de Fantasmas con Los Nastys; and the psychedelic music group Baywaves will be performing tracks from their debut album Only For Uz.
Quentin Gas & Los Zíngaros are also on the line-up, a band from Seville that is hoping to be one of the big surprises of the festival with their mix of psychedelic and touches of southern rock. Alien Tango have a fresh musical proposal that combines psychedelia, glam, garage, Balkan rock, surf, frontier, and any other style they decide to turn their hand to.
Schwarz, a psychedelic rock group from Murcia, is back with their new album Nación Subterranea, after a four-year break, and White Bats will be coming out all guns blazing with their impeccable first EP, churning out a tense sound with post-punk influences.
