Every now and then, we hear about emerging musicians deemed as ‘the young promise’ of pop or rock and associated with well-established artists. This is the case of Tom Odell, an English singer and pianist who’s been compared to Elton John. But Odell is no fading star – he has talent enough to shine for a great many years.
Born in Chichester in 1990, Odell won the Brit Critics’ Choice Award in 2013 for his debut studio album, Long Way Down, which sold more than a million copies.
His concert at Sala But in Madrid is part of the tour in support of his new album, Wrong Crowd, released on 10 June 2016 and including 11 tracks: Wrong Crowd, Magnetised, Concrete, Constellations, Sparrow, Still Getting Used to Being on My Own, Silhouette, Jealousy, ‘Daddy’, Here I Am’ and ‘Somehow.
