As part of the programme for the Madrid in Dance Festival 2016, the La Veronal Company is performing Siena. It is a contemporary dance performance that explores the human body in all of its senses.
The group led by Marcos Morau begins its show in a museum hall where a woman is sitting down looking at a painting. Meanwhile, a man watches the scene from the door.
From this starting point, La Veronal takes the public to the Italian city of Siena in a timeless journey that is submerged in an emulsion of reality and fiction. A fact that is taken advantage of to reflect on the idiosyncrasy of all the states of the body: the real, the living, death, fragile…
