The streets of the centre of Madrid host the fourth edition of the Sanitas Running Series Madrid. Known as the Derby of the fans, it brings together runners who are fans of Atlético and Real Madrid in a race which departs from the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium and finishes in the Vicente Calderón Stadium.
The starting pistol is at 9 o´clock in the morning outside the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium (esplanade in front of Paseo de Castellana) and after a 10-kilometre course, it finishes at the Vicente Calderón Stadium.
The race travels through some of the capital’s most emblematic streets and points, such as the Paseo de la Castellana, Plaza de Cibeles, Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, Neptune’s Fountain, the Spanish Parliament, Puerta del Sol, Calle Mayor, Almudena Cathedral or the Royal Basilica of San Francisco.
