After his unforgettable partnership with Arthur Garfunkel, Simon continued his career as a solo musician and songwriter. It wasn't long before he was writing songs again, and one year later, in 1972, he brought out his self-titled album, Paul Simon. Since then, his musical career has continued a fairly constant pace, something that, given how long he has been in the business, is undoubtedly quite an achievement.
Stranger to Stranger is the latest album to date by Paul Simon (New Jersey, USA, 1941), who is now perhaps entering the final stage of his musical career, as he is now in his 70s. Regardless of whether or not this is the final album in an absolutely brilliant career, any record released by this musician is always worth a listen.
Featuring 13 solo tracks, it retains his folk style with hints of rock. The album was produced by Paul Simon and Roy Halee, with the collaboration of the Concord Records label.
