Following the success of plays such as Drockula or A Christmas Carol, the Face 2 Face Theatre Company is back with another adaptation in English for all the family: A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare.
The story tells of the romantic entanglements of four lovers who, under the spell of a magic potion, fall in love with the first person they meet. Hermia and Lysander run away from Athens to secretly get married in light of the wish of the girl’s father for her to marry Demetrius.
On the other hand, Oberon and Titania, king and queen of the fairies, have had a heated argument. The King asks the pixie, Puck, to prepare a potion with which he will make her love him again. However, the first man she sees is Bottom, a simple weaver who is wearing an ass’s head as he is rehearsing for a drama.
