An outstanding guitarist, singer, songwriter, and lyricist, Luke Winslow-King is returning to Madrid to perform the tracks from his new album, I’m Glad Trouble Don’t Last Always, due for release in September of this year.
Luke Winslow-King (Michigan, USA, 1983) blends his music with an incredible cocktail of blues, jazz, folk, pop, rock, and swing sounds, earning him critical acclaim after years gigging in clubs around New Orleans' French quarter.
Since his album The Coming Tide, released in 2013, Luke Winslow-King has played numerous tours around the US and other countries, alongside his artistic partner and wife Esther Rose, accompanying musicians such as Chris Thile and Jack White.
His new album, the fifth in his career, will be released by Chicago Bloodshot Records and was recorded in Livorno (Italy). The guitarists who accompany him on I’m Glad Trouble Don’t Last Always are Roberto Luti (slide guitar), Benji Bohannon (drums), Brennan Andes (bass) and Mike Lynch (organ).
