Luca Pisaroni (Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela, 1975) will be closing the 23rd Lied Cycle season (a coproduction of the National Centre for the Dissemination of Music, CNDM, and Teatro de la Zarzuela). His nuanced, versatile performance will be the perfect way to bring the cycle to a close.
Pisaroni made his debut at 26 at the Salzburg Festival with the Vienna Philharmonic, conducted by Nikolaus Harnoncourt. Since then, he’s built a successful career, performing at the main opera houses, concert halls and festivals around the world.
Pisaroni has a bright, well-placed voice and a flawless singing technique, which enables him to perform a wide variety of operatic roles, such as both Count Almaviva and Figaro in The Marriage of Figaro. He has sung in Paris, Vienna, San Francisco, New York and many other cities.
In this last Lied Cycle performance, he’ll deal with songs by Schubert (Der Erlkönig, Der Doppelgänger), Beethoven (Adelaide) and Mendelssohn.
Baritone: Luca Pisaroni
