The Russian director, Vladimir Jurowski conducts the London Philharmonic Orchestra in a new concert to accompany the organist, Adolfo Gutiérrez, and the soprano, Sofia Fomina. It is a classic recital by the Ibermúsica Foundation that includes works by Dvorák and Mahler.
The London Philharmonic Orchestra is one of the most important ensembles in the United Kingdom. Furthermore, it has been responsible for recording several soundtracks for such famous films as The Misson, Lawrence de Arabia or, more recently, The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Adolfo Gutiérrez Arenas has a special sensitiveness on stage and has performed at venues such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Ford Theater in Los Angeles, working with Charles Dutoit.
As for the soprano, Sofia Fomina, she made her musical debut in 2012 at Covent Garden and has performed at the Bayerische Staatsoper playing the roles of Blondchen, and Oscar in Un Ballo in Maschera, under the director, Zubin Mehta.
