Les Follies Paris – Berlin – New York is a tribute to a century of burlesque produced by the choreographer, Cristiane Azem, who relives the different eras of this art through the music and dance that have marked each period.
Through a sexy, satiric and colourful staging, 20 dancers take the public to the three greatest eras of the burlesque: Bohemian Paris of the Belle Epoque, the Charleston and the Flappers of the Berlin cabaret and the swing, jazz and rock `n´ roll rhythms of New York at the beginning of the 1950s.
Points of reference such as the Moulin Rouge, American films, the Broadway musicals or the German pubs and personalities like Marilyn Monroe, Betty Page, Jane Avril or Marlene Dietrich offer an amazing evolution of the burlesque throughout time.
