The American singer-songwriter Joshua Radin, stops off in the capital as part of his world tour to present his sixth album, Onward and Sideways, an album that talks of love and its effects. His music can be defined as a mixture between folk and rock and acoustic.
Joshua Radin (Ohio, United States, 1974) began his musical career in 2004. He never wanted to be described as a live artist, but following the success of the song, Winter, in an episode of the series Scrubs, led him to sign a record contract and go on world tours. He has sold hundreds of thousands of albums and has obtained good reviews from the media like The Rolling Stones or The Guardian.
He is now presenting his sixth album, Onward and Sideways, which he composed whilst lying on a bed in a hotel in Stockholm. This album captures the experience of falling in love, honestly telling the feeling of happiness, fear and doubts that this involves. Love and its complications are one of the key themes within this artist’s creations.
