The National Music Auditorium is hosting a concert by José Enrique Morente and Juan Habichuela ''Nieto'' as part of the Andalucía Flamenca.
José Enrique Morente has been surrounded by flamenco music his whole life. Son of the great Enrique Morente and dancer Aurora Carbonell ''La Pelota'', he began studying guitar and music theory at Granada's Musical Youth Conservatory. Since then, he has created his own flamenco style, bringing together the musical touches of his father and other artists such as Antonio Chacón and Manuel Torre, and taking inspiration from world music such as Cuban and African music.
Juan Habichuela has accompanied great flamenco artists such as Estrella Morente, Juan de Juan, Diego Carrrasco and José Parra. However, his creative drive first emerged with Enrique Morente, with theatre productions such as Fedra and on the record Pablo de Málaga. In 2011, he won the Bordón de Oro de La Unión prize (Murcia).
