The Filarmonía Orchestra and Choir offers the Star Wars, John Williams concert in which the most recognisable chords of the saga produced by George Lucas are remembered.
The instrumental ensemble makes a cover version of the legendary songs from the science fiction franchise with the aim of attracting a younger audience to the opera. The songs that are performed have been prepared entirely by the orchestra director, John Williams, a historic songwriter of film melodies who has also provided the music for films like Jaws, Indiana Jones or Jurassic Park.
In them, the influence of classic authors like Richard Strauss or more contemporary composers, such as Erich Korngold and Max Steiner, is evident. On this occasion, the new melodies of the seventh edition of the saga, which was premiered last year, have been incorporated for the first time ever.
