The film, in original version with Spanish subtitles, will be screened on an HD super-screen while the Barbieri Symphony Orchestra playing the soundtrack live. The score was written by John Williams, who was nominated 50 times for the Academy Awards and was awarded his fourth ‘Oscar’ for the original music composed for the fantasy film directed by Steven Spielberg.
E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial tells the story of a little alien left on Earth by his friends, who flee on their spacecraft when they realise they’re in danger. The creature meets Elliot, a ten-year-old boy, and Elliot’s brother and sister, who try to protect E.T. from government scientists and the police, and help him return to his home planet.
